I Arise to Do the Work of a Father

The world is in need of true men – fathers. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry is so quick to talk about who a good man is, and some dear proclaims themselves to be one. A true man is not shown in what you say or not say. It is shown in what you do, or not do. It is shown in the basic motivation of your life, the basic motivations of your heart, the basic motivation of your being.

What motivates you? Where do you live? Are you living from your higher nature or your lower one? Are you in control of your life? Or, are you allowing the elements of this world to control you? Are you living through the pains of life? Or, are you one to run away from the slightest hint of opposition? Does your life stand for something? Or, you are one to flow with WHATEVER is popular?

Oh, what a true difference real men make in any and every society. Oh, what molding and fashioning in the way of life fathers bring to bear. Oh, where are the fathers? Oh, where are the real men? Let your life ring back in reply. Let your covering be seen in your generation.
