Look Up and Live.

It is always too soon to give up. We all need to hear that over and over again, till it is ingrained on the inside of us. Why? It does not always feel so, but it is so. While in the pit, our outlook on life is just as blink as the darkness of the pit we find ourselves in.

Our feelings align accordingly and spell doom for us. That is why it is so easy to take one's life at such times. The animal in us seeks to control, but we need to arise to the fullness of all that we are. We are not mere animals if at all we are.

We are intelligent beings, who don't just have instincts, but intelligence just as well. We are gifted with not just sight, but the ability to envision and create. That is our leverage position. That is what differentiates us from a pig. A pig cannot imagine and create. We can.

Hence, we are limitless, for as long as we engage our intuition and creative acumen. There is no stopping us. We can always create a better solution, new and record-shattering ones. And, it really does not matter what our past looks like.

In actual fact the worse our past is the better our future has the potential of becoming. Why? There is a call for depth. There is a strong WHY to push with. There is a NEVER AGAIN to keep the ball rolling. What does not kill you only came to make you strong, not give up.

As Jackie Joyner-Kersee puts it, "It is better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret." Life is lived forward, not backward. What you focus on enlarges and controls you. Rather than focus on your failures, focus on the possibilities the future holds, and be drawn to it.
