Mentalities (2/3):

When we know the power of dreams, we will understand that we can create the world we want. And, not feel we have to compete with others for the seemingly little we think is available. Having a Poverty (Scarcity, Poor) Mentality is only natural. It is only natural for weeds, thistles, and thorns to grow on the soil. They are a result of the fall. They come naturally. [Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 8:20-22]

If we want an Abundance Mentality we need to cultivate it. It does not come naturally. It is found upstream. This is where Jacob missed it. It wasn’t God’s will for him to trick the brother of his birthright. The end does not justify the means. In God, the means are just as important as the end, if we want an abundance mentality. 

Our God is not just the God of the Beginning and the End. He is the God of the In-Betweens just as well.
