“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.” – Peter Drucker.
Life and success are never about how much you can do; it is all about how much value and meaning you generate and produce, respectively. The hardest work is never necessarily the highest-paid.
I guess that is what the poor don't seem to understand. A man or woman comes and speaks for one (1) hour, and he or she gets paid for one hour a fee that exceeds the year's earning of a casual worker. It is all about value creation, meaning produced.
You, too, can get there. It is not reserved for a few. All you need be is value and meaning conscious. The market does not pay for time, health, rigor, hardworking, ethics, etc. The only thing the market respects and pays for after everything is done is value and meaning.
Be a value and meaning conscious individual, and the market will respect and give you place. Separate yourself from the herd. Be you. Be creative. Be value-creating. Be meaning generating, and see the market reward you beyond your wildest imagination.
