Overcoming the Fear of Commitment (Day 3)

One of the ways we stop digging our self into this hole is to stop running.

We need to get off the denial game. We need to stop denying the fact we have a challenge.

We need to stop avoiding the issue. We need to stop calling it any other name, other than what it is.

It is a demon, and we got to look it straight in the face, call it what it is and stand up to it.

I love the way Eleanor Roosevelt puts it. She says,
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
Stand up to it and call it what it is.

You have a challenge, and unless you accept it, you cannot begin to address it.
