Your Treasure is in Your Excitement

I Am Expectant. I Have My Hopes Up.

Your Expectation Directs Your Focus:

You know the funny thing about life is, “we often get what we expect.” So, doesn’t it make sense to expect what we want? Doesn't it make sense not to expect that which will not bless us? That sounds like a no brainer. Right? Yet, many do otherwise. They choose to live their lives out of fear rather than out of faith. They choose to live their lives, always expecting the worst and are sure, not disappointed.
"Focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear." — Anthony Robbins.
Some even chose to do it in style and expect nothing, so they get nothing or the crumbs of life. They are foolishly elated, thinking they got something, yet deprived of the fullness life has to offer. In the running away from being disappointed, they miss out on life itself. Even the little they seemingly have gets taken away from them.
"I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past." — Patrick Henry.
Your Humanity is Tied to Your Excitement:

A wise man once said, “Man is nothing until he is excited.” How so true the saying. You got to be excited about something. Why not be excited about something that will make your life better. The way of life is excited about it. And, to be excited about life, we have to always expect the best. Never, never ever…put a limit on your expectation.
"The day you quit being excited about your future that day you stop living." — Joel Osteen.
Always aim and shoot high. Always shoot for the skies. Even if you miss, you will still hit something high up there and not down. Yes, when you go shooting, ensure you are standing on good ground. Ensure you take the right posture to withstand the gun’s recoil, but never let that becloud your aim. That is to say, yes, there is a need to always be prepared for the worst, but we must never let that preparation affect our expectations.
"Fear has never been a good advisor, neither in our personal lives nor in our society." — Angela Merkel.
The Balance is in Your En-Theos:

As much as we always prepare for the worst, we must always expect the best. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS…expect the best. That is the secret to harnessing the most out of life. That is the secret to being excited about life. That is the secret to getting the most out of all that God has endowed us with. That is how we awake our creative acumen.
"What color is in a picture, enthusiasm is in life." — Vincent van Gogh.
Our faculties only awake to full positive productivity when we are excited, expectant, and in positive anticipation. That is the secret to living a full, rich, and abundant life. Your dreams are only as possible as your excitement and enthusiasm (en theos = god within) about them. Let God nature in you give life to your dreams.
