Failure is Never an Option

Failure was never an option with Christ going to the cross. Hebrews 12:2-3 (NLT) tells us,
"We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up."
Like they say, “Everyone has a price.” Humanity was God’s price, and He was going to accept no less. He was resolute about His assignment. He, in no way, treated it with levity. There is a difference between, "I will try," and "I will."

One has a definite resolution with a full vision of the final successful outcome. The other is fuzzy about the final outcome. And, subject to being sidetracked, depending on the difficulty faced while on the task. One is fully sold out to the course, with a ringing anthem, "I'll either succeed or die working at it." The other has other priorities and options.

Failure was never an option with Christ going to the cross. Is failure an option for you? What is your price? Is Heaven worth it? Is eternity with God worth it? Show it by the way you live and carry yourself. Present yourself unto God as a living sacrifice.

There is a host of witnesses cheering you on. Please, don’t let them down. Please don’t let yourself down. Please don't crucify Jesus again. God placed His final bet just to get you. Let your life appreciate His sacrifice.
