A God Who Answers | Part Seventeen.

We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel, as we continue to dig deeper into verse 13 of Chapter 10. It reads,

"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia."

I can't get over the meaning of Noah. REST. Wow! How so coincidental with our study and meditation. Noah means rest, one who brings comfort from labor. [Genesis 5:29] "Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you [us] seem to have come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1)

God wants us to enter into His rest. He does not take pleasure in our unending contentions. He wanted Jacob to find rest. He wanted Moses to enter His rest. He is not going to force us into His rest. We have to make the decision to want it. We have to rise up to the occasion of belief and trust. There is no other way.

So, the scriptures tell us Enoch made this decision at a certain point in his life. [Genesis 5:21-24] He did not stray into it. He sought it and found it. You will NEVER stray into God. You will not stray into heaven. If you don't know you are going to heaven, you are not. In fact, if you are not in heaven in this life, you most probably will not be in the life to come.

Enoch is our vivid example. He simply walked into glory. [Genesis 5:24; Hebrews 11:5] "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13)

"Jesus said to her [Martha], “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)

God makes it a duty that none of us will stray into the "holies of all." "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2) God is not going to give that which is holy to dogs, nor His pearls to pigs. [Matthew 7:6] He intentionally makes it difficult for us to know Him, without a deliberate and concerted effort. [Jeremiah 29:13]

The Saint.
