The Favored One - Part One.

Text: “So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.”” ― Daniel 1:11-13, NKJV.

Keynote #1: We can do nothing without Christ. Our enablement is found in Him and Him alone. (John 15:4-7)

Keynote #2: God has not called us out to keep us away from the world, but to deliver us from the evil one, and show forth His glory. (John 17:15-18; Ephesians 3:10)

Keynote #3: To enter into God's rest we have to believe God. Faith is the way. Faith is the way into God's rest. (Hebrews 4:1-2)

"If you don't have faith, you have nothing." - Joe Nemechek.

Keynote #4: The most critical thing in our walk with God is that we truly walk with Him. (Luke 10:42; Matthew 7: 21-28; Galatians 5:16, 25)

Keynote #5: Our walk with God demands that we have faith in Him. (Hebrews 4:2; 11:6.)

Keynote #6: Faith is substance - it can be touch, it can be felt, it can be assess by our senses. It is tangible. It is matter. It is something you can hold on to right now, not in the future. It is evidence, what we can see. It is not hope. (Hebrews 11:1)

Keynote #7: Without faith we CANNOT please God. (Hebrews 11:6)

Keynote #8:
Salvation is worked by two elements, Grace and Faith. Grace alone will not save us. Faith alone cannot save us. It takes the two. God provides Grace, we provide Faith. God needs us to work salvation in our life. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 16:31)

Keynote #9: We need Grace and Faith to walk righteously, in the spirit. (Hebrews 11:2; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38-39; Habakkuk 2:4)

Grace and Faith began the miracle of "Sozo" (salvation) at calvary. Grace and Faith will take us through the wilderness (working out our salvation, with fear and trembling), and usher us into the promised land, God Himself. No other way will do.

"Grace does not work like a penny in a slot machine. Grace will move you only when you want it to move you, and only when you let it move you. The supernatural order supposes the freedom of the natural order, but it does not destroy it." ― Fulton J. Sheen (A Preface to Religion).

The Saint.
