I Am Educated to Change My World For Good

Happy New Month, Family.

Thanks are to God for the miracle and power of a new month. It is a privilege to still be counted amongst the living. I do not take that for granted in any small way. It is the end of yet another awesome month. “Another,” however, might not be the accurate word to use. It is November, the penultimate month to the end of the year, 2020. 

A Year Like No Other:

Wow! It was only like yesterday the year started, and see, we are already done with Thanksgiving and now preparing for Christmas. It sure has gone down as an unforgettable year. That is common to all but from different viewpoints. Condolences to all those who lost someone, especially due to the coronavirus. That sure shook the whole world with varied statistics of mortality against the grain. 

Unfortunately, change shakes people to different sides of the divide. Some have gained, whereas others have lost. Such is life, though. It is simply what it is. We don't have complete control over it. Sometimes we are thrust, sometimes we make a move: either way, the future beckons. And, if the thousands of years of existence is anything to go by, neither is ever fatal. Rather, they are the call of destiny. 

It all will turn out right, for as long as we do not let our own self down but keep standing and moving forward. Providence has got enough to go round.

Thankful November:

It has been an awesome opportunity to do what I do every year. Spent the month of November exposing, on the whole, the concept of thanksgiving while giving thanks just as well. It is the will of God that we giving thanks for and in all things, circumstances and situations. Why not, if not? He has promised NEVER to leave us nor forsake us. 

Even if we do not understand the situation, we can always trust in His promise and His heart. That is the basis of our thanksgiving. Even though it might seem like we have lost it all, we can be confident things are not out of control. Things are redeemable. Why? Our God is still on the throne, and He is more than able. If He allowed it is because He has a bigger and greater plan in-store and in the works.

He wants us to always rest in these. That is the basis of our thanks for and in all things, circumstances and situations. It is not a religious practice or dogma. It is the reality of living a life graced and breathe on by the God of Heaven. He is our difference-maker, our enabler, our provider, and our all. We can give thanks for all our yesterdays. They are candidates for redemption. They are for profiting. 

We can profit from our pains. We can give thanks for our today and our tomorrow. It is an expression of our faith in the one who has already finished his works concerning us - a God who wants to give us hope and a future.

Educing December:

This month, like every other December, I get to focus on the importance of “Education, Knowledge, and Christianity.” Education, unbeknownst to many, is not about filling oneself with knowledge. We have a lot of uneducated professors, pastors, bishops, and the list goes on. Knowledge is not power. Organized Knowledge in such a way as it is useable to effect work is what is power. 

The word “Education” comes from two Latin words, “e” (which means “out of”) and “ducere” (which means to draw or lead). Put together, it means “to draw or lead out of.” Hence, put in common English language, “Education is the process and intent of building a person’s capacity by drawing, and/or leading the very best out of him or her. 

Education is the process of making a person useful to him or herself, his or her community, and the world at large.” Anything short of this is a mere waste of time, energy, and valuable resources. Being schooled and being educated are not necessarily the same thing. Being schooled is simply filling the people with knowledge and passing exams.

Being educated is to be one who can use the schooling in such a way as to make him or herself and the world at large better. Are you educated or simply schooled?

Activation:

Again, all praise to God for December. For me, 2021 starts on December 1st. It gives me a whole month to tighten up my plans for the real 2021. On or before 31st December, I must have finished my 2021plan. I must have an idea of what each month will be like and what I want out of each and 2021 as a whole. It does not have to be perfect, it just needs to be my best plan based on my envisioning, and all I presently know. This is my invitation to join in such a pursuit.

May this December be your best month ever. Never ever forget you are a champion. You have greatness in you. You've got potentials. God saw this month from the beginning to its end and put in you all it takes to subdue it. That is why it is called the GOOD (not the ugly, nasty, or dirty) fight. We know the end. We win! Or, as some people would rather say, "We won!"

The script has been finished, signed, sealed, and delivered. Now go act it out. Go live it out knowing, no matter what you face, no matter what comes your way, the end has already been predetermined; you won! Now go forth in this your might and bring in the medals.
