Your Pains are for Redemption:

"Both the years and the experiences have brought me here to where I stand today, but it is the thankfulness that opened the windows of opportunities, of blessings, of unique experiences to flow my way." – Jim Rohn.

Life Happens:

Life happens to us all. That is more like a cliche that just about sounds like a broken record. We have all heard it so many times we are dead hearing it. The only question is, do you understand it? Do you know the depths of all it portends?

When life happens to you, what is the first thing that bubbles up in your mind? Is it that your adversaries from the village finally caught up with you? Or, you see it as one of those occurrences of life. Another opportunity for engagement. Another opportunity to build strength and grow.

Flight or Fight:

So, what is your stance at such times? Flight? Or restrategizing? Depression or a call to the resilience you had hitherto built? There is the popular saying, "if it does not kill you, it makes you stronger." That is what life is all about.

The law of use states, "whatever is not used will decrease and or die, that is, atrophies. The challenges of life are nature's own way to force growth and prevent atrophy. When you face a challenge, all the innate potentials inside you are called on, both those you normally use and those unused.

This prevents the atrophying of the hitherto unused potentials. The unfortunate thing is that not everyone rises to the challenge. Some see it as their lot in life and do nothing. Hence, defeating the aim of nature. Others sit helplessly waiting for help from outside of themself.

Hence, they are at the mercy of the charlatans, tyrants, terrorists, and general prayer merchants. They are no different from those who sit doing nothing. They also are anti-nature, and hence trophies.

Redemption:

My sister, Ngozi Ngene, shared: "You are right on point there!! In my life’s journey, I have discovered that God is closer to us than we think. And that, if you sincerely seek God yourself, you can find Him.

I am currently reading a book by John Hagee. He said that adversity is God’s university. He talked about the 3Ps, namely problem purpose and provision. To get beyond the problem to the provision, you must recognize the purpose of the problem.

This is where many people miss it. It is at this point that people start looking for solutions where there are none. May God help our understanding in Jesus' name."

3 Ps - Problem, Purpose, and Provision. Wow! The problem leads to Provision if the purpose of the problem is understood.
