Which are You?

Wisdom:

If you are going to be thinking at all, you might as well think big. It does not cost more. It takes about the same time and energy, but different results and dividend. Failure is one aiming too little and getting it. Perching on the ground like chickens. There is more to life than lowly living, struggling for crumps. There is a higher life. There is a better life where you can determine your pay. You can soar with wings like the eagles.

Success is aiming too high, if there is anything at all like that, and enjoying the result, even if the original target is missed. Be audacious about your aspirations. Don’t mind the chickens mocking your dreams. Make your dreams scary. Make them those that scare you yourself. If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough. Go back and re-set them. Give room, leave room for God to work His miracles.

If all you are dreaming about is what you can handle in your own strength you have left the most important factor out of the game. You are short-sighted, thinking life is all about you. No! No!! No!!! There is a bigger part to live than just you and your own. There are new worlds to be created. Existing worlds to be set loose. New grounds to be broken. There is more to your life than just you, yourself, and yours.

You are a gift to the world and until you start seeing correctly through these lenses you are not going to grow any bigger. You are not going to soar. So, release yourself to dream. Release yourself to imagine and reach for "a city with firm foundations, whose maker and builder is God." Be audacious in your aspirations. Be audacious in your goals. Let the G-factor make the difference for you.

Let the naysayers say whatever they want. You are bigger than that. Don't allow that distract you. No sooner will they be bowing down to you. Stay the path. Be strong. Be whole. We each have incredible abilities and talents far beyond our wildest imagination. The only way to tap into these is by stretching. Get off your butt and out of your comfort zone, conquering new territories.

As Anthony Robbins will say, “Your success is directly related to your comfort level with uncertainty. The more comfortable you are with uncertainty, the more successful you will be. Your place is in the skies with the eagles. Don’t be distracted by chickens. Soar!
