Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 15 W 1 D 4.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you could join us.

We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel as we lead ourselves into The Throne Room. We landed on Daniel 6:25-27 two days ago. We close out on it today. It reads,

"Then King Darius wrote: To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, and steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall endure to the end. He delivers and rescues, and He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."

Yesterday, we focused on the need to not only know the love of God, nor His fear. We are only complete if and when we know His love and His fear. God is not only love [1 John 4:8, 16], He is a fearful God [2 Corinthians 5:11].

He is a living God, not the God of religion, a dead god. He is a God who is near and wants to be concerned with everything in our lives, 24/7. Everything ought to be article of worship. We were created for His glory, not in some, but all aspects of our being.

That is what Hebrews 11:6 tells us. Until we see Him as the God who IS, active and interested, we are not worshipping Him. Darius knew better. So, He declared, "For He is the living God, and steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall endure to the end."

"He delivers and rescues, and He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth." He is the one who has delievered you, is delivering you, and will yet deliver you. Amen.

Let us pray.

The Saint.
