Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 14 W 5 D 1.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you made it. Thanks for coming.

We continue our meditations in The Book of Daniel as we lead ourselves into The Throne Room. Today we drop in on Daniel 6:15. It reads,

"Then these men approached the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.”"

These wicked men saw the regrets in the heart of the king to have been so entrapped. If they were thinking straight and clearly, that would have given them a cause for caution. The King who is so entrapped will not always be entrapped. He will one day come out of it.

Life comes in phases and seasons. One is not always weak, nor strong. The weak man today, is the strong man tomorrow. The person you are oppressing today might be the one determining your future tomorrow.

With the weight of history of this kind behind us, one would expect ith to be common knowledge and wisdom. Unfortunately, that is not so. Like Winston Churchill so famously said, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

We see this in the workplace. People are so blatantly wicked when given places of authority. Tehn when they are about to depart start shedidng crocodile tears. People cursed by hell itself. They give then start making the meanless pitch for forgiveness.

Where was there senses when they were bidding the call of their father the devil? May this not be your own portion. Stay with God.

Let's pray.

The Saint.
