Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you made it.
We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel, as we lead ourselves into The Throne Room. We land on Daniel 6:21. It reads,
"Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! "
Sorry, but I cannot rush passed that. Short, but powerful and effective. Those are else whilst simple words, but they are loaded. That tells a whole lot about who Daniel was, and how and why he was able to excel in Babylon.
Put yourself in Daniel's position. Will those have been the first words out of your mouth? Won't you have been overridden by the euphoria of the moment? Won't you have felt higher than the king and everyone else? God knows your name. You don't buy that in the market.
I would have been a bit of all I have stated about, but God is changing my heart. I am growing to be like Daniel. God is doing a deep work of grace in my life. I am dropping my religiosities and picking up spirituality. I am becoming fortified on the inside and it is becoming visible on the outside.
Do you understand all I have written? Can you say that of yourself? Are you becoming the true worshipper the Father seeks?
Let's pray.
The Saint.
