Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 14 W 5 D 2.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you made it. Thanks for your presence.

We continue with our meditations in The Book of Daniel, as we lead ourselves into The Throne Room. Today we hit on Daniel 6:16. It reads,

"So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.”"

Wow! That is all I can say. Darius said, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” How did Darius know? What was behind Darius' words? Were they mere words, or were they potent? Were for lack of what to say, or they were intentional.

The answers are bare in the chapter as a whole. Darius saw something different in the life of Daniel. The influence of His God and Daniel's belief were visible to all in the way Daniel lived it out. Darius knew Daniel's God is potent. He is not a dead God.

Can someone say that about your own life? Are you differentiating yourself? Is your belief visible in the way you live and carry yourself? Or, are you one of the children of the devil in our midst? These are those full of excuses on why they are not differentiating their own lives.

We have been called not just to receive a form, but the power also. If your belief is not changing your life get rid of it. You have a wrong belief. The belief in and of Jehovah changes lives. Let's get back to the basics and shed off the fat of the devil and his children in our midst.

Let us pray.

The Saint.
