Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 13 W 6 D 5.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you came.

We continue our meditation in "The Book of Daniel" as we lead ourselves into the Throne Room. We are still digging into Daniel 6:5 and by extension Psalm 2:1-4. Yesterday we focused on God's laughter in mockery of the plan of the evil ones.
Let us turn the table and look at how God rejoices over his own. The clear scripture that comes to mind is Zephaniah 3:17. It reads,

"The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Psalm 35:27 finds a place here also. It reads,
"Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, "Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

Thou He laughs in mockery of the evil ones and their vain imaginations, His desire is to rejoice over His own with singing and gladness. He wants to accomplish the desires of our hearts [Psalm 37:4; 20:4]. It is up to us to make this be by delighting in Him. It is up to us to expect the good things He desires for us. [Philippians 4:8]. Will we? Let's pray. The Saint.
