Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you made it.
We continue our meditation in "The Book of Daniel," as we lead ourselves into "The Throne Room." We are still on Daniel 6:10. Last time we started on a series we titled, "Unperturbed: Living the Above Life." We continue on this trajectory.
The Apostle Paul tells us, in Romans 5, Christ died with the intent we might reign in life. He took our place and gave us His place. Here in Daniel 6:10, we see Daniel living ahead of his time in the grace we inherited in Christ. He was exhibiting the favor and goodwill endowed to him by God.
Aware of the people's orchestration, he refused to relate at their level. He took his seat in the heavenly places. He understood though the people might rumble, nothing happens in this realm except it is given accent and judgment in the throne room.
So, rather than be perturbed, he used his access. He went to the source as he always has. He stayed the course of his life. he was not going to allow the shaking of mere men to make him lose his sleep. He not only knew the source but had access to it, just like we do. [Romans 5:1-2].
Do you know your source? Do you know your access code? Are you using it?
Let's pray.
The Saint.
