Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 13 W 3 D 3.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you came.

We continue digging into Daniel 6:3, still learning about the excellent spirit that was in Abraham. As much as we glorified the connection between Abraham and Lot, there came a time when their humanness was tested. There was a conflict between their herdsmen. This must have been one brewing over time as they grew. The land could not sustain their herds in the same location. Such is life the simple fact of growth alienates us from some, even as we gain new associations.

As natural as such conflicts might be, they could mean heaven and hell for the participants, depending on the way it is handled. Conflict is a natural human phenomenon. It can either grow or decimate us depending on our maturity or the lack thereof in handling it. James 3:16 (NKJV) reads, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." That is the challenge. When not handled properly, and it is internalized and gives place to envy and self-preservation. This opens the door to the enemy. You don't want that.

Been there, done that. Conflict is a test of who you are on the inside. It comes to ask you that question. Remember, if your strength fails you at such times, it is not the conflict but your strength that is small.

Let's pray.

The Saint.
