Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 13 W 5 D 3.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you came.

We continue leading ourselves into the place of prayers by digging into "The Book of Daniel." Still on Daniel 6:3. The last part reads, "And the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm." (NKJV)

From our study, we have seen that all that happens in the visible realm is predetermined in the invisible realm, specifically, in the throne room. So, though the scriptures read, "An the king gave thought..." the person giving thought was not the king, but God.

God gave thought to setting Daniel over the whole realm. He had been judged faithful and worthy for such positioning and posting. Psalm 75  lends credence to this by telling us where promotion comes from. It does not come from this visible realm. It comes from God.

God adjudges Daniel as worthy of a promotion. Can the same be said of you? Do you know what heaven is saying concerning you? Can that be said concerning the works of your hands? Daniel had differentiated himself, and the rewarder was set to do His own part.

John the Baptist adds a word here, when he says, "No one can receive anything except it is given to him from above." That is the vanity of struggling for that which is not yours or envy. Slow down. If heaven says it is yours no one else can take it from you.

You just be faithful about that which is in your hands and before you. The rest is God's to sort out. The battle truly is the Lord, and the victory is sure. We are more than conquerors. We won.

Let's pray.

The Saint.
