Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you made it.
I guess a lot of people miss the point of what Christianity is. I spent a few Saturday teaching on this last year. I need to rerun some of that series. A few call themselves Christians, but are clueless as to the Word. The Word defines us. [John 17:17]
Without the Word we are no different from any other sect. The Church of Jesus Christ is defined by His Word, not our emotions, feeling, or any other thing. We are all the Word says we are, no more, no less, period. Not sure how much better to hit that down.
You are not a Christian if your life is not defined by the Word of God, plain and simple. God is not going to dance to our own standards. We are the one to rise to His.
