Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 12 W 2 D 3.

Welcome to the Upper Room. So glad you came.

One thing that goes with active age is experience. Note, I said active life, not people repeating the same year many times and calling it a life. Nope. That ain't no life. That is a waste of a gift. My focus is on those daring to live.

A Yoruba Proverb, I like to quote, says, "a child cannot have as many clothes as to have as many rags as an elder." For me, that means seeing several shapes and sizes of Christianity, or should I say, "supposed christianity?"

There are those who feel Christianity is synonymous with suffering. Really? What is the good news in suffering? There just might be. Right? Only if it is a seed for an equal of greater good. So, the scriptures tell us, "our suffering is nothing compared with the glory to be revealed."

I guess we all can agree with this, thus far. Where most defer is when and possibly where the glory comes. Most people, we choose to call, "cross christians," believe it is in the after life. They believe we are here only to suffer for the cross, and will receive eternal life there after. Really?

I wonder where they get this realization from, except from the vainness, emptiness and laziness of their mind. The scriptures is full of examples of resurrection in this life, but such cannot see the same. They are too blinded by religion to see any good in this life.

Daniel Chapter 1 ends with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego being judged and rewarded. Chapter 2 ends the same way, except Daniel was rewarded and exalted above the rest. Here, as we close Chapter 3, we see Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego being rewarded.

What do you suppose God is teaching us from these? He did not just bring Israel out of Egypt. Nope. He brought them out to take them into the promised land. It is the Father will to give us the Kingdom, not just in the after life, but starting right here. Are you game for it?

He died. Yes, but that was not the en of the story. He was buried, and RESURRECTED. We are called not only to die, but to resurrect and live the life and power of resurrection.

Let's pray.

The Saint.
