Welcome to another day in the Upper Room. So glad you came as always.
We started on the last two verses of Daniel Chapter Two, verses 48 and 49. And, what jumps out immediately is, the truth, "Our God is a Rewarder." I don't know how that evades a whole lot of religious people.
God is a Rewarder. That is written all over His creation. It has to take the devil to distort such truth. He works overtime on religious people's heads to fight against this important attribute and aspect of God. Why?
God's reward is closely related to His glory, His weightiness. It is His way of sharing His glory with His people, causing Himself to be revealed in and through them. This is the eternal purpose of God in creation.
So, you can understand why the devil works overtime against this. God's purpose is that His glory will fill the earth even as the waters cover the sea. And, what better way to achieve this than true His glory revealed in His own?
