Welcome to another day in the Upper Room. So glad you came.
You know, I posted something on Acts 2:44-46 this morning. And, as expected religious people jumped on it. No wonder God says, "His people perish for lack of knowledge." Religion sure is the opium (hard drug) of the people.
People think they are worshipping God, but are only worshipping their own idea of God. They seemingly do things to quiet the hunger in them, but without devotion to God himself. Religion is about how they can use God, not devotion to God.
Just how many of us are caught in the same web. That is why Jesus tells us, that God is spirit. He is our Father in Heaven, not earth. He seeks for TRUE worshippers, those who seek for Him, not themselves. Those who will worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.
