Believers' Prayer Meeting with The Saint | R 9 W 5 D 1.

Welcome to another week, another day in the Upper Room. So glad, as always, that you came.

I was almost being drawn into an argument over the weekend, but thank God I refuse to take the bait. How so unproductive arguments are? People get locked up in a particular direction and stop reasoning or listening. No one wins an argument.

The heavenly stand is the example our Father shows us. He says, "come and let us reason together." He did not say, "come and let us argue." He says, "bring your strong reason." He did not say, "bring your strong emotions."

Arguments are immature stance, by immature people, and only sell people short. We need to step up to the higher levels, and learn to discuss and reason together. That means we need to respect other people's views and opinions. That is what mature people do.

Though you don't necessarily agree, you still need to allow each person state their stance and view. You don't listen to respond. You listen to listen, hear the person out and understand their view.

Let's pray.

The Saint.
