Welcome to another day in the Upper Room. So glad you made it.
You know I was just thinking yesterday how we all tend to kill time by fussing on and around the things that don't really matter. A spouse is upset because the partner is unable to meet some needs. Instead of making the best of the time and all they have, they fuss on the things they don't.
The assumption is they have all the time in the world to make up. Really? Who promised you tomorrow? Who told you either of you will still be here tomorrow? We are all given a certain quantum of time. This is not immortality. This is mortality. Each of us is going to leave here on a date we don't know.
Wisdom demands that we make the optimal use of the time we have, and not depend on what we are not sure of. Life is found in the todays. Every moment is all we have got and truly given. Let us make up our mind to make it count for eternity.
